Ready to hit the road!

Road Trip is upon us!

My Mom is heading up to my house Sat. and on Sunday, we are heading out! Road Trip!!!
Up Northern CA to the Oregon Coast. I have heard the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is the best 12 miles of the Oregon Coast.

Here's the plan:
We are heading up to Gold Beach, OR - staying in an ocean-view cottage at Turtle Rock Resort.

We are meeting Susie & Phil at Gold Beach and sharing the cottage together. I've never been there before so I'm looking forward to checking everything out. We do plan on going on a boat ride that comes highly recommended. Check out the site:

Only thing is, I'm sure you get wet and I would love to take a camera with me to get some good shots. Especially great nature and I think there's a cool bridge you see too. Maybe I'll just put my phone in a ziploc bag and when we stop, take some pics, then put it back in the bag. :)

On Wed. Mom & I plan on heading up the coast to Florence, OR. There's lots to see on the way up. I hear the Oregon Coast is absolutely beautiful. There's a few towns in between Gold Beach and Florence that I want to check out. Port Orford, Bandon, Coos Bay, just to name a few.

I will try and write more as the trip goes along. Can't wait! Very excited to check out the Oregon Coast!
